I have been quite happy installing the early releases of Java 8 on my
Windows XP X64 system.
I develop and test my programs using Eclipse and all but a few
new features in JavaFX work just fine.
Then, all releases since b97 have not installed correctly.
I tried again yesterday with b129.
jdk-8-fcs-bin-b129-windows-x64-07_feb_2014.exe
The install seems to work but does not install the JRE.
As a result, Java will not work.
I can install on Windows 7 and then copy the files back to XP
and it all works ok.
I know is says that XP is no longer supported but probably have
the windows systems in the world are XP.
Also, Microsoft have now said they will release security fixes for XP.
Please fix the XP install.
